Privacy Policy

1. Images you upload

Uploaded images and results are stored to provide the service. They are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload for guests and 30 days after upload for signed-in users, so you can re-download them. You can delete them earlier from My images.

To remove backgrounds, images are sent to Alibaba Cloud's Visual Intelligence service (servers in Shanghai, China), which returns the result. We do not use your images to train AI models and do not sell or share them for any other purpose.

2. Account data

When you create an account we store your email address, name (optional), a secure hash of your password or your Google account identifier, and your credit balance and history.

If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. We keep records of purchases and subscriptions for accounting and support.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to limit free usage per device. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against automated abuse.

5. Service providers

We rely on: Alibaba Cloud (image processing), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in and analytics), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (security) and our hosting and storage providers. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

6. Your rights

You can access and update your profile in Settings, delete individual images at any time and delete your account, which removes your personal data and images. For other requests, including data export, contact support@erasebg.uk.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
